Simon 4 Texas is spearheaded by Simon Cardell, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. Our mission was to create a youthful yet conservative identity to resonate with the communities of Northeast Texas.

What we did

  • Developed the brand identity

  • Print, digital, and social content creation

  • Website design

  • Social media management

Logo and Icon

The campaign was initiated under the name, Cardell for Congress. When we came in, we prioritized giving the youngest congressional candidate a more personable identity. So we rebranded from “Cardell for Congress” to “Simon 4 Texas”, which encompasses the idea that Simon is for all people regardless of generation or political persuasion. Using the number 4 in the logo and campaign name highlights that he’s running in Texas’s 4th Congressional District.

Colors

We started the designs with a simple traditional Red and Blue based palate, however, we quickly tweaked the blue and red, using a Vivid Blue, and a Bright Red. We then added a non-partisan Bright Yellow to represent sunlight. We paired these three major colors with a very deep gray, and a light cream color to stand in for our white and black.

primary election

We were spared a primary in this race, but wanted to do our part to get out the vote and support the candidates we aligned with. We filmed a video encouraging people to show up at the ballot box and let their voices be heard.

social

meet simon campaign

This is a sample of the 6-part Meet Simon social campaign. The goal was to introduce Simon to the voters in a personable way, using his strongly held beliefs to showcase his policy positions. We were met with an incredible response from the community, praising the depth and vision for the future that was laid out.
